Truly, it was a whole lot of fun. It was also fun trying to say their own birth names rather than the English ones they were taking. (The students often take an English name to make things easier for others while they're here.) It was so cool! Their names are almost musical and it was so cool trying out these new sounds. They were very amused at my excitement. (Basically I was jumping up and down in my seat with a huge grin, "This is so cool!!!")
It was also kind of cool when they were asking me about the university and how American culture is. It was also cool that they were talking to me about their own culture. It all was SO COOL!!! Oh my goodness!
After we got back I basically spent the afternoon watching videos on the internet while drinking tea from the new tea set my parents gave me. Believe you me, I love this new tea set. It feels so fancy! I really want to have people over just so I can use it and share it with people. Of course, I'd love to have people over just so I can share tea with them and talk with them. That's the sort of thing I love to do.
Tonight I'm also going to go visit a friend that I haven't talked to really since we fought some time ago. I'm hoping that we can reconcile somewhat, but I don't think I can...really trust him again. We'll have to see how tonight goes, right? Hopefully it'll be a good experience and we can get along, even if we're not as close as we were before.
